Aromas 1: Myrrh & Cinnamon, and Cedarwood & Geranium bourbon
These are two pairs of oils I enjoy a lot. They make me feel good in Winter. I think the cedarwood is very clarifying, and the geranium bourbon brings out its sweet side. Now, if you know geranium bourbon, it's very strong and almost unappealing alone. I'm not sure the perfect timing astrologically, but I find myself using these in the time of Saturn and air influences such as Gemini. I have seen cedar associated with Jupiter as well as Mercury. And the clarifying energy reminds me of Mercury. The smell reminds me of Aquarius and Capricorn, very dry; and Virgo, very light and sweet. Here the cinnamon draws out the fullness of the myrrh. It's like chocolate in milk. Myrrh is very much a winter fragrance. With myrrh, the cinnamon feels purposeful. It sweetly nudges you with an elbow to the kidney and tells you to stay sharp.
