Millennial Thoughts: Patience
Patience is #1. I've learned not to do things all in one go. We owe it to ourselves to give ourselves space - to think, and plan.
Impulse kills the will. The commercial world convinced me everything has to be done now. But all the respectability is in standing still.
If you ever think you're not in a capitalist's world think about how many times you've tossed out your own self worth just to make time for others' goals.
People respect you more when you be still. The person pushing you in traffic respects you when he knows you won't go over the speed limit and goes around you. Impulse turns you into its bitch the moment you get anxious, yell or push back. The buyer waiting on the seller learns to value the object being sold. It makes life sweeter to be patient.
